Just thought the factory CAI was good enough. Sounds like a bLow off valve and add the stage tune with DP. Stick with paper air filter , or move to a CAI system that will gain more simply because of the additional air flow and amount of air that it will let into the engine. Make sure the airbox is clean.

Replaced stock air filter with KN drop in filter and noticed an immediate performance boost. Best thing is increased throttle response. Stomp it with KN and paint long black burnout lines without power braking.

The car could not do this with stock filter. The HKS air filter (foam) flowed -slightly- better, but by slightly better, I mean less than 0. But Did You Check eBay?
