Molekule cadr rating

The clean air delivery rate , or CADR , is the scale that stands for the cubic feet of air cleaned from particular contaminants by the unit per minute. In other words, it shows how efficient the air purifier is in reducing whichever pollutants. Molekule’s PECO technology goes beyond simply capturing particles on filters, to actually destroy pollutants in the air.

Here’s our take on what today’s air purifier rating systems can and can’t tell you, and a broader vision of what clean air truly looks like. Let me set the stage for you a bit: We are a family of four. Three of us have active allergies to mol dust mites and pet dander. We live on a busy street and as such dust is a huge issue in our house. For over a year now, our go-to purifier has been the IQAir HealthPro Plus,.

The number of reviews are limited as of the time of this review and all are star or stars. Many positive comments were given for the design and crisp, fresh smell. There are three CADR ratings given on the AHAM seal. All direct purchases also include a free one-year filter subscription, where you’ll receive three replacement pre-filters (approximately months after your purchase) and one nano filter (six months after purchase). The Molekule Air Purifier is currently priced at $7for the air purifier itself and another $1to subscribe to their annual filter replacement.

Customers will get their first filter for free, so this $1fee actually will not apply until the first anniversary of the day they purchase their air purifier. The CADR Ratings Scale page takes a technical topic and makes it simple. At least, more simple than it could be. We review how the Clean Air Delivery Rate works.

How it is managed by an organization called AHAM (the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers). We include some factors to consider when considering the CADR number. The air purifier has finally been reinvented.

Molekule makes the best air purifiers on the market by using PECO technology to break down pollutants on a molecular level, destroying airborne VOCs, bacteria, mol viruses and allergens. It does NOT affect VOCs at all, and that is really the whole purpose of this air purifier. In regards to PM, there are True HEPA air purifiers for less than $ 1on Amazon that have a much better CADR - this itself is a fact. Nevertheless, the CADR rating does offer some idea of how much space the purifier is intended to be used in. High CADR purifiers will probably be too loud in a small bedroom.

Molekule’s PECO air purifier is designed to clean a 600-square-foot room, and it has a silent mode for bedroom use. Noise level: 30dBa in “Silent” mode. Room coverage: 6square feet. Product features: The Molekule air purifier contains a dual-phase filtration system with a 360-degree air intake at the bottom of the unit.

Air passes up through a pre-filter, which traps large particles, and then through a proprietary PECO-Filter, where pollutants are destroyed through a chemical reaction on the surface of the filter. This is no ordinary air purifier. Molekule’s patented technology, Photo Electrochemical Oxidation (PECO), works at the molecular level to eliminate indoor air pollution. Take a deep breath and see what makes Molekule the first of its kind. Therefore, a 1CADR in the USA is the same performance as 1CADR in Europe or Asia even though they could clean the same 4square feet (square meters) room every minutes.

As a result, it is important to know which units of measure you are comparing. Another upside to this air cleaner is that the maximum air purifying coverage is 2sq. The downside is that all of these benefits add up.
