Causes and effects of pollution

What are the main causes of pollution? Noise pollution can cause stress, anxiety , headaches , irritability , hearing loss , and sleep loss resulting in decreased productivity. Oil drills, submarines, and other vessels on and in the ocean can cause excessive noise that has resulted in the injury or death of marine animals,.

Effects on Humans: We create pollution and now we die because of it. The effects of pollution on humans lead to severe long-term damages to our health. All the respiratory system problems like skin disease or asthma problems or even cancer are associated with it. It is considered the main cause of ever rising cases of respiratory system problems and diseases, like asthma and cancer. As for the effects of water pollution, these include a large number of water-borne diseases , ranging from diarrhea and vomiting to gastroenteritis and typhoid.

Causes of pollution: Mining: Industrial mining of the minerals is considered as one of the primary causes of pollution. It creates smog and acid rain , causes cancer and respiratory diseases , reduces the ozone layer atmosphere and contributes to global warming. The elements involved are not produced by nature, and the destroying process can vary from a few days to thousands of years (that is, for instance, the case for radioactive pollutants ). We breathe in every polluted particle from the air which in the increase in asthma and cancer in the lungs.

Various Causes of Air pollution 1. The burning of fossil fuels. Sulfur dioxide emitted from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and other factory combustibles are one the major cause of air pollution. Air pollution is a mix of particles and gases that can reach harmful concentrations both outside and indoors. Its effects can range from higher disease risks to rising temperatures. The causes include fossil-fuel burning and greenhouse gases.

Air pollution can be divided into fine particles, ground-level ozone, lea oxides of sulfur and nitrate, and carbon monoxide. While those effects emerge from long-term exposure, air pollution can also cause short-term problems such as sneezing and coughing, eye irritation, headaches, and dizziness. On the other han auto mobiles, agriculture, power plants industries etc are the man-made sources that cause air pollution to exceed. In order to do something about it, first, we must understand the root causes and effects. Here are the causes and effects on pollution.

Causes and effects of pollution

Burning of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and other factory combustibles is one major cause of air pollution , also vehicles like cars, trains and airplanes cause a big amount of air pollution. Land pollution is common, and it is important for us all to know about its crippling effects. Today, we have brought you the causes and effects of it. It causes different kinds of respiratory diseases like heart attack, Cancer, bronchitis etc.

Every year millions of people of all over the world die due to direct or indirect effects of air pollution. Acid Rain: Acid raining is another effects of air pollution. The key causes of the water pollution are: industrial waste, mining activities, sewage and waste water, accidental oil leakage, marine dumping, chemical pesticides and fertilizers, burning of fossil fuels, animal waste, urban development, global warming, radioactive waste, and leakage from sewer lines. Of those, coal-generated plants are the worst. The other causes are oil and gas extraction, coal mining, and oil refineries.

Earth’s surface is covered by water and the human body is made up of water. ACID RAIN – It may be natural or can be caused by pollution. When the water cycle process takes place, the water which evaporates from the surface also evaporates some amount of chemicals in it, this increases the pH of water so the acid rain forms and when acid rain falls,.

The other primary causes of ocean pollution are: Discharge and runoff: We dump millions of pounds of untreated sewage, garbage, and toxic waste into our rivers. And industrial and agricultural waste, as well as mining pollution and simple urban runoff from roads and highways, also enter our fresh waterways. Pollutants in the air make it hard for people to breathe causing lung disease. Sewage enters into the ocean water through rivers and pollutes the marine life.

It causes the reduction of oxygen level in the water which hampers the life of animals and plants of oceans. Marine pollution through the oil spill. What is plastic pollution , its causes and effects.

Pollution directly enters the ocean in the form of sewage. The most dangerous and common pollution of the century, should be plastic pollution. Plastic pollution is a big question that is posed to the Worl right now.

Causes and effects of pollution

Due to the non-biodegradable nature of plastic, it is quite dangerous to make our environment polluted with plastics. We know that air is an important element of our environment.
